After two weeks of this bastard of cold/flu I’m more or less out of the clear. Only need to get this sore throat sorted out first. Out of boredom, during that time, I checked Facebook a few times. Not much new — same old first-class narcissism and denial. Invited people to join me on Jabber/XMPP. No one responded — dicks. I guess it’s not interesting to stay in touch if you can’t Like, share someone’s post, retweet or have a conversation in public. Conversing privately must be scary I guess. I’ve grown tired of social media. I honestly don’t see the point, other than to brag about your fake, pretend-happy life. I miss the good old days with IM and IRC.
